THE FINAL TOUCH
The campaign centered on a groundbreaking collaboration with artist @bluethegreat, marking the first-ever animation of his iconic characters. The content strategy included a social media sweepstakes followed by the full video premiere on @ebaysneakers, coinciding with his launch event celebration.
As an ACD at TheMany I leveraged my passion for sneaker culture, street art, and saturday morning cartoons to help eBay reclaim its position as the original sneaker reseller platform. Beyond concept development and visual direction, I worked with ATOMIC manufacturing to produce an exclusive eBay-only sneaker stand, that works as a display case for your grails.

INFLUENCER CAMPAIGN:
To get the word out about the collab, we teamed up with some popular TikTok creators like: Ralph Romeo (61.8K followers) Kayce Kirihara (232.3K) and Nazjaa (475.6K). Using a green-screen backdrop of “The Final Touch,” they challenged their audiences with sneakerhead trivia. Fans who answered correctly in the comments had a shot at winning “The Final Touch” and the ultimate sneaker grail sitting on top of it..

PEDESTAL
The bespoke stand can hold up to a pair of size 16 sneakers. Cast from urethane resin before being individually hand-sanded and painted, clear-coat sealed, and topped with a die cut acrylic paint palette, “The Final Touch” is individually numbered and could only be obtained by following @ebaysneakers. I worked directly with Blue The Great and went through a few rounds of sketches, stress-testing his creative vision with what Atomic Props could replicate 100 times over. We landed on a mummified hand holding an art palette above clouds with nods to Blue’s iconic elements.

THE
AUCTION
We used eBays platform to auction off five one-of-a-kind primary colored sneaker stands to raise funds for the art department at the artists High School. To top it off, we captured the moment in a mini-documentary featuring Blues heartfelt return to his old stomping grounds.

LAUNCH
EVENT
In art and fashion, exclusivity is everything. Since Blue is known for his invite-only parties-- we unveiled "The Final Touch" to friends, family, and select members of the sneaker media, and then used @ebaysneakers to share content in real time to fans near and far. The centerpiece was Blue x eBay's sneaker stand, with Blue's art projection-mapped to blank sneakers. Blue performed a DJ set as animations from the Unveil Film graced every wall in the gallery, and dual photo booth step & repeats welcomed guests – one for them, and one for their kicks.
